This was my first language cassette, and I listened to it obsessively in the car during my commute for a month before traveling to Budapest. I was staying with friends, but there were a few instances where I had to fend for myself, and I managed to buy souvenirs and order drinks and dinner. I met my friend's Hungarian teacher and she seemed honestly surprised by how much I had been able to pick up.

I have also used Fast & Easy German, with the same great results. If you have a mind for languages, you can even infer grammar from these and put together your own sentences! I'm going to see if they have one for Korean after I have finished writing this review... ;)
