This is a lovely book that describes in detail the life and passion of Saint Francis. It is interesting to see how Francis gave up a life of wealth and comfort---of wine , women and song, to search out life's deeper meaning. It is told in great detail and is an uplifting and sweet book. It also describes the path of Claire of Assisi, Saint Claire, and the other monks of Saint Francis' order. A delightful and soul-satisfying read. This is an incredible bargain at $4.99.

Written in the fifteenth century, The Little Flowers is a collection of stories chronicling the journeys, activities, and miracles of Saint Francis and his brethren. It is among the world's most popular and most read of the religious classics. Unabridged republication of the Thomas Okey translation."
