Product Description A collection of three novels: Johnston's "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" explores a family feud and how two enemies try to forgive and forget. Stuart's "The Soldier & the Baby" tells how an innocent baby brings together a hardscrabble soldier and a devout novice, who all must escape a jungle. And Rush's "Love Slave" delves into the dark business of white slavery and an investigator's attachment to her sexy, shadowy client.

2 great stories and 1 bad one, 2005-05-27 I bought this book for Johnston's story and ended up liking Stuart's story the best of the three. Both had strong characters, hot romance and good plots. If you like Harlequin type romances, you will love these two stories.
On the other hand, Rush's story was just bad. Rachel's character was okay, although why she had any feelings at all for Rand I sure couldn't figure out. I've read plenty of romances where the heros had issues as a result of their pasts, but this guy has ISSUES. I felt no sympathy for this guy at all; he was just cruel and his past was no justification for it. The plot was just terrible as well; like another reviewer said, it was just WEIRD and the progression just didn't make sense a lot of the time. It's a shame this story was included with the other two; it really brought down the quality of entire book. I give Johnston and Stuart four stars and Rush two stars.
Pretty good, 2004-04-09 I got this for Stuart's story, which is terrific, as is Johnston's. They both tell tales of couples fighting their attractions for one another for reasons that end up being much less important than the love growing between them. Tender, steamy loves scenes and clever dialogue are hallmarks of both novellas. I give each of them 5 stars. Rush's story, Love Slave, brings the whole book down for me. It was just weird - that's the best word I can think of. More of a psychological drama than a romance, the hero is just a mess, traumatized by his childhood and now taking it out on the heroine in the guise of sexual adventure. I'm old school I guess, but using another person for nearly forced sex so that you can work out your kinks is a turn off. The author is a good writer, but the plot stunk. 3 stars for it.
